1611 vs. 1769

This argument comes up many times with defenders of modern translates.  After service one time my Pastor asked me. “Kevin, do you read the 1611 or the 1612 version?”  I said, “I read the 1769.”  This invoked a loud chuckle.  I assumed this meant that there had to be even more changes than there were even with the 1611 to the 1612.

The truth is most of the changes were spelling, punctuation, printing and grammatical error corrections.

Instead of me repeating what others have researched and and already reported on so well I would invite you to watch the following video.  I think that if you have ever believed that that the the 1611, 1612 and the 1769 versions of the King James Versions of God’s Word have changed then think again.
