SACRAMENTS OF THE CHURCH

Water Baptism
Acts 8:37, Galatians 3:26-27, Matthew 28:19-20
While Water Baptism is not required for salvation we believe that every believer should be baptized.  It is the Biblical expression of a commitment to die to the world, the flesh and Satan and live for God alone.  Water baptism is the complete submersion into water and it is for those that understand the meaning.  Water baptism for babies serves no biblical purpose.  Sprinkling can be done in such cases if someone is in the hospital or physically they are unable to be submersed.

Holy Communion
1 Corinthians 11:24-25
All believers are welcome to participate in the sacrament of Holy Communion without regard to church affiliation.  We observe communion because the LORD told us to.  The sacrament of Holy Communion is to celebrate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Some churches do this only on holidays or one Sunday a month.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible
We believe in the Bible as the verbally (every word) and plenary (complete) inspired Word of God as contained in the original manuscripts; that all portions of Scripture are equally inspired and contain no contradictions. (II Timothy 3:16) God’s Word is to be the only rule of faith and practice for all matters for the believer in Jesus Christ; and that the Canon, the sixty-six books of the Bible is complete. We further believe that God has supernaturally and providentially preserved His inspired Word for every generation. (Psalm 12:6-7) The Bible is the FINAL AUTHORTY in all matters of faith and principle.

A: By INSPIRATION we mean that the books of the Bible were written by holy men of God as they were moved by the Holy Ghost in such a definite way that their writings were supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from error, as no other writings have ever been or ever will be. This was a one-time event in which God, once for all, delivered His truth to the church. (II Peter 1:20-21; Jude, v. 3; II Timothy 3:16) 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

B: By providential PRESERVATIONwe mean that God, through the ages, has, in His divine power, preserved the very words He inspired. We further believe that the Hebrew Old Testament text, as found in the Traditional Masoretic Text, and the Greek New Testament text, as found in the Textus Receptus (5,309 manuscripts [mss] at the time of translation;’1604-1611′, now 5,800+ mss) , are the true texts of Scripture and therefore are the complete, preserved, inerrant, infallible Word of God. (Psalm 12: 6, 7; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 24:35; 1 Peter 1:23)

C: We therefore believe that the King James Version is the accurate and faithful translation of the true texts of Scriptures which constitutes the preserved, inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God for the English- speaking people of the world. The King James Version of the Bible is the only translation used by Airrington Ministries & Pass the Word KJB.

D: We need and have a PERFECT Word of God because Jesus said, “We need an EVERY WORD Bible.”  We need every Word that God spoke.  Why? Because Jesus said we do.

Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

The King James Bible is PERFECT.

One God
1 John 5:7, Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20; and Colossians 2:9
We believe in one God who is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.  These are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.

Jesus Christ
We believe in His deity, virgin birth, His sinless life, death, burial and resurrection, and His personal future return in power and glory.

Salvation
We believe that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Salvation comes by grace and grace alone.  For it is by grace that we are saved, through faith, and even this did not come from ourselves but is a gift of God  –  Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Holy Spirit
Ephesians 2:9-10
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells Christians and enables them to live a Godly life.  The Baptism of the Holy Spirit as taught by Disciples is a separate act which empowers believers to operate in the gifts of the Spirit.  The gifts of the Spirit are available to believers through Baptism of the Holy Spirit for edification of the believers.

Marriage
We believe that marriage is reserved for a man and a women as laid down in Genesis 1. We believe as Moses taught that a man should never put his wife away in a divorce; even for adultery. Eventually for the hardening of their hearts they were permited to divorce.

Laying on of Hands
We we believe that anointing the sick and laying on of hands for healing is found in the Bible. God does the healing…

Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of everyone who ever lived, receiving either the eternal blessing of a right relationship with God or the eternal punishment of those who reject God’s salvation through His Son Jesus Christ.

The Church
We believe the New Testament Church is a local, autonomous (self-governing) congregation of believers gathered together in a given location with a common purpose. Believers are expected, even commanded together (Hebrews 10:25) for the purpose of fulfilling the GREAT COMMISSION (Mark 16:15, “…Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” Jesus Christ is the founder of the New Testament Church (Matthew 16:18). Therefore, Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church; Ephesians 1:22-23, Colossians 1:18. Jesus is the Head over all things to the Church and He directs the affairs of a local New Testament Church.

Creation
We believe that Jesus is the creator of all (Colossians 1:16-), that He created the Heaven and the earth in six literal 24-hour days.  When God Himself said in Exodus 20:11 that He meant what he said that He created the earth and all that is in it in six days.

We believe that to discount the first 11 chapters of Genesis or to attempt to try and make evolution fit, that we might as well throw the whole Bible out.  The credibility of Jesus and the Apostles are at stake since they quoted from Genesis, probably more than any other book of the Bible.  To learn more about Creation or the lie of evolution please contact us or our friends at  www.drdino.com.

EVANGELISM
The Bible is the greatest guidebook of the Christian life and preaching God’s method of bringing it to the hearts of God’s people.

Evangelism: Jesus’ command is still valid today to “Go ye into the all the world and preach the gospel” . The fulfilling of this command brings great spiritual health. The power of the Holy Spirit is brought to bear in order to accomplish the command, and joy is released in those who obey. The result of obedience to this command glorifies God and honors His word.

Paul said, Romans 10:14-15, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”

CHRISTIAN MATURITY
Maturity through Lifestyle: Jesus looked for those who were dedicated to following Him. In two thousand years the seriousness of the church towards being discipled has deteriorated. It is our goal as a ministry and as followers of our Lord Jesus Christ to learn and live the truths of Scripture. We are not satisfied to be “hearers only” but desire to be “doers of the Word of God”. We strive to come faithfully, give joyously, worship fervently, and witness loyally. We have found Jesus Christ to be “… the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

DISCIPLESHIP and PRAYER
Discipleship is the shaping of an individual’s destiny. Each church in the New Testament copied Jesus’ method of calling those whom God had chosen and training them through example. The book of Acts demonstrates the powerful impact that is possible to those who take Jesus’ command and pattern seriously. We believe in the functioning of the gifts of the Spirit and we challenge members of the church to find the full expression of their lives in whatever manner God wills.

Prayer
Daily prayer is a normal part of an individual’s Christian walk. This is the way of battle for the Christian. Robbed of prayer, the church is robbed of power, direction and divine presence. We know that the kingdom is built by Gods power, not man’s. That is why we place emphasis on daily prayer.

Holy Communion
1 Corinthians 11:24-25
All believers are welcome to participate in the sacrament of Holy Communion without regard to church affiliation as individuals, However, as a church body we should be members of that body to participate in Holy Communion.  We observe communion because the LORD told us to.  The sacrament of Holy Communion is to celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Some churches do this only on holidays or one Sunday a month.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

THE WORD OF GOD
We believe in the Bible — all portions of Scripture are equally inspired and contain no contradictions, errors, or omissions.

The so-called, “originals”, as some claim are not the where God stopped preserving His Word.  These originals NEVER existed.  Moses smashed the “original” Ten Commandments into pieces. (Exodus 32:19), Jehudi cut Jeremiahs Scroll with a pen knife. (Jeremiah 36:23) These so-called originals do not exist.  Jesus read from a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy and yet He called them, “Scripture”.

A.) By INSPIRATION we mean that the books of the Bible were written by holy men of God as they were moved by the Holy Ghost in such a definite way that their writings were supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from error, as no other writings have ever been or ever will be. This was a one-time event in which God, once for all, delivered His truth to the church. B.) By providential PRESERVATION we mean that God, through the ages, has, in His divine power, preserved the very words He inspired. We further believe that the Hebrew Old Testament text, as found in the Traditional Masoretic Text, and the Greek New Testament text, as found in the Textus Receptus (5,309 manuscripts [mss] at the time of translation;’1604-1611′, now 5,800+ mss) , are the true texts of Scripture and therefore are complete: perfect, preserved, inerrant, infallible Word of God.

(Psalm 12:6-7; Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 24:35; 1 Peter 1:23)

C.) We therefore believe that the King James Bible is the accurate and faithful translation of the true texts of Scriptures which constitutes the perfect, preserved, inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God for the English- speaking people of the world. The King James Bible is the only translation used by Airrington Ministries & Pass the Word KJB.  All Modern Trashlations are FULL of errors, omissions, and contradictions.  This is easily demonstrated and provable, therefore, cannot be nor should they be relied upon for Scripture.

D.) We need and have a PERFECT Word of God because Jesus said, “We need an EVERY WORD Bible.”  We need every Word that God spoke.  Why? Because Jesus said we do.

Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

CONFESS Romans 19:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

BELIEVEJohn 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

REPENTActs 3:19, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”

INVITE – Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

The Gift of Tongues as the Bible defines in Acts 2, allowed the Disciples to speak in diverse languages in order to share the Gospel of Jesus. This is not a “Heavenly language.”

Marriage
We believe that marriage is reserved for a man and a women as laid down in Genesis 1. We believe as Moses taught that a man should never put his wife away in a divorce, even for adultery.  Eventually for the hardening of their hearts they were permitted to divorce.

Laying on of Hands
We believe that anointing the sick and laying on of hands for healing is found in the Bible. God does the healing…He heals, who He wants, when He wants for His glory.

Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of everyone who ever lived, receiving either the eternal blessing of a right relationship with God or the eternal punishment of those who reject God’s salvation through His Son Jesus Christ.
