Mothers are special because their love is unconditional. They wipe our tears and bring discipline when necessary. Mother’s are special because they are the glue that holds the family together. They are the one who is always in your corner.

I miss my mama every single day. On March 3rd, 2012, She took her last breath on earth and her very next breath was in the presence of Jesus. It was also her 72nd birthday. I would give up anything for 5 more minutes with my mama.

I miss her hugs, I miss her wisdom and I miss her smile. I also miss the way she used to call me her S – U – N,(spelling it out) because she said that I was, “the sunshine of her life”…and it drove my sister’s absolutely crazy.

I am a mama’s boy…but I was not a mama’s boy until after I became a man – after I came to know Jesus.

All three with the middle name of Rose! Someday…they will be mothers too. I love each of my daughters so very much and you are a blessing to me.

I want to honor my mother and my grandmother this day. And listen, not all mothers-in-law are bad. I happen to think that my wife had a great mother-in-law.

May God bless all of you mother’s and grandmother’s out there. You deserve this day…. every day should be mother’s day!

“As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you…” Isaiah 66:13
